At C/A Design we are thrilled to announce the arrival of not one, but TWO brand new Mazak Palletech Mazak HCN-6800(1 NEO, 1 E) Horizontal Machining Centers paired with a 24 station Palletech Automation cell. Both machines are 630mm pallet machines with 16,000RPM HSK100 spindles, 160 tool magazines, and 41” x 36” x 38” XYZ travels.
Santa couldn't squeeze them down the chimney, so his elves helped with a large truck for a special delivery through the side door!
While our new facility is being prepped in Exeter, New Hampshire, we had to gear up in Dover to fulfill some large defense contracts for the new year! We couldn't wait to get our first 2 machines in, setting the stage for an innovative and productive start to 2024 with high spindle utilization and efficiency, increased capacity, reduced lead times, and improved ability to meet the demand of our customers.
Look forward to seeing the arrival of (4) HCN-5000 NEOs and (1) HCR-5000 paired with a 44-station Palletech by summertime at our new Exeter, NH building!

New Vacuum Furnace Adds to Brazing Capabilities
In addition to the new facility, equipment plays a role in expanding our brazing capabilities. One key piece of equipment is our new large vacuum aluminum brazing furnace. This new furnace will join our existing furnace at our new Exeter facility, to add vacuum aluminum brazing throughput capacity, reduced downtime risk by equipment duplication, as well as an increase in our vacuum brazing part size capabilities. Our existing furnace will also be receiving a controls upgrade to match the new furnace software and controls hardware. After 14 months of design and our manufacturing, the new vacuum furnace is being transported, to be installed in our new facility.
